few days back, i bought a bathroom for the hamsters to sand bath themselves. and one of the hamsters just love to sleep inside. cute!


and this is the mighty female hamster. now known as mamahamster. she is damn bloody irritatingly active. if she's not climbing bars, she's biting on them making lotsa noise. she's just too active. i guess she was prego already when she was doing such dangerous stunts. mighty mommy indeed. training for labour maybe.


and today, i guess it's the day 2 of birth, the newborn's skin isnt so pinkish anymore but a bit of greyish. like the lil furs are coming out kinda thing. a bit disgusting to see dark lil things wriggling inside. but yeah. mighty mama moved them all down from the house to the 1st storey. maybe for more cushioning.



i would say keith is like the papa hamster. cuz when this particular newborn was lost outside of the litter, the father would pick it up and bring it back to the rest to keep warm. very keith.

and then i bought dried mealworms for the mama hamster so she can have some extra proteins in her body which will benefit her and the babies. but the mother didnt fancy the mealworms. even before she could get used to it, the papa hamster ate them all up. nom nom nom. very keith too. nice only eat.
