people will ask me "so mel, what's your new jobscope like?" and then i would say "pretty much nothing" and that's what i thought it would be until i took over and step in to do stock-taking for the very first time.

oh. my. god.

this place needs some serious help! so much to be improved on, so many things could have been better if the previous supervisor left after finding someone to replace her, but nope. that didnt happen. my fellow crew has since started to bombard me with very good suggestions and i've started to gather them on the new Suggestions Board for all to see. i recall us crew getting sian of suggesting new ideas to our previous supervisor cuz she would always tell us "it's not up to me, i dont have any say in the management. i'm just like a crew like you all but just with slightly more responsibilities". sigh. but gone are those days! (:
